LCC’s annual summer golf outing will take place on Sunday, September 19, at Hickory Hill Golf Course on Route 31. A shot-gun start will start play at 1 pm sharp.
The entry fee for this year’s tournament is only $39.99 per person if you register on or before Sunday, September 11. If you register after September 11, the cost is $50 per person. The entrance fee will buy you 18 holes of golf, a cart, water at the turn, dinner under the course's pavilion, the chance to win prizes, and the opportunity to spend a fun afternoon with friends and family. Prizes will be awarded to the tournament winners, the 2nd place team, the 3rd place team, the players (men/women) who hit the longest drive (hole #7), the players (men/women) who hit the ball closest to the pin (hole #15), and our putting contest winners (men/women).
Any player who gets a hole-in-one on hole #9 wins a brand new JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE!
Like past years, the tournament format will be “Captain and Crew” - some people call it “Best Ball”. All this means is that each player on your team will hit their ball from the best spot your team was able to get to. People of all ages and genders are encouraged to sign up. This is intended to be a “fun” event for all to enjoy. You do not need to be a regular attendee of LCC to participate. You can sign up as a team of four or as an individual. If you sign up as an individual, the tournament organizers will pair you up with three other people. In addition to participants, we are also looking for tournament sponsors. Sponsorship levels are $25 and $50. Sponsors will receive advertising both on the course and in our tournament program.
